| Ninaithalae Nadakkum, Avatars’ debut production, had a novel, interactive feature where the audience decided how the story would proceed. The audience voted during key decision points in the play, and the play moved forward based on their vote. The play was followed by an energetic debate among the audience on the various decisive moments in the story. | Not only the actors, but the entire crew had to rehearse all possible variations of the story and present on stage the path chosen by the audience. The stage production team also garnered several kudos for realistically recreating the facade of a middle class Chennai home and a romantic setting on a moonlit balcony. |
